Paris, Tenn.–It was Doggie Heaven at the Atkins-Porter Dog Park Thursday for the “Bark in the Park” event organized by the Henry County Prevention Coalition. The Paris-Henry County Animal Shelter brought a lot of pups who were up for adoption and three of them found their forever homes. Vendors were set up and food trucks Hand-Held and Nana’s Treats were on site. A photo booth was set up for dog owners to smooth their pups. Organizers said, “A huge shout out to Paris-Henry County Animal Shelter and Mineral Wells Animal Clinic for sponsoring the dog adoptions and helping create a lifetime of joy for these dogs!” In photo, Organizer Jamie Miles, right, treats two dogs with pup cups.
