Mr. Carols Lackey, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Skyline Medical Center. He was born on January 26, 1949, in West Virginia, the son of the late Shelva and Lola Lackey.
Carlos was a devoted member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joyce Finley.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Cheryl Lackey; his daughters, Lori (Steve) Wallace, Rebecca (Dewayne) Vanzant, and Carla (John) Thompson; grandchildren, Danny Wallace, Deanna Bowers, Christopher Crain, Ashley Thompson, and Amanda Thompson; three great-grandchildren; brothers, James Lackey, Grandy (Pauline) Lackey, and Saul (Cathy) Lackey; and his sister, Gloria McKinley.
Funeral services will be held in West Virginia.
