Geiger To Speak At Henry Co. Memorial Day Program

Paris, Tenn.–This year’s Henry County Memorial Day Program will be held at 8 a.m. Monday, May 26 on the court square in downtown Paris. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come. If there is inclement weather, it will be moved into the courthouse.

Speaker will be County Mayor Randy Geiger, with Brittney York from Greenbrier singing patriotic songs.

The State Color Guard will be conducting the mock Military Service, Mark Grogan ” Sarg” will explain the Missing Man Table and the Field Cross. Rev. Ed Smith will play Amazing  grace on the bagpipes, while the veterans organizations will be laying the wreaths, ending with Ron Tyler”Doc” reciting a prayer.
After the service, there will be a Flag Run at the AmVets.
