A chosen group of two dozen third and fourth graders from Union City Elementary School was rewarded with a trip to the Discovery Park of America last week as a part of the school’s Discovery Kids program.
The students were honored for demonstrating excellent behavior, character, and work ethic for the final nine weeks of the 2024-25 school year.
Each student was nominated for the honor by their respective classroom teachers.
Almost all students wore purple and gold attire to DPA to show their Tornado Pride and explored the park’s many exhibits and features during their day-long visit.
Among those students chosen for the honor were:
