
Thomas Holcomb, a University of Tennessee at Martin student from Puryear, accepts the Jeremy Devault Percussion Service Award from UTM Chancellor Yancy Freeman during the university’s Honors Day, held in Watkins Auditorium on the campus of UT Martin. The Jeremy Devault Percussion Service Award is a cash award presented to a music major specializing in percussion. The recipient has demonstrated academic excellence and contributed outstanding service and dedication to the UTM percussion studio. The award is funded by Beth Devault in memory of her son, Jeremy Devault, who was a UTM music education major specializing in percussion who lived each day with a mission of service and dedication to his peers and professors.
