
Gibson County, Tenn.–On May 5, 2025, in the Circuit Court of Gibson County, the Honorable Judge Peeples sentenced Timothy Fields II to serve 12 years in the Tennessee Department of Correction.
Fields, who is a Standard Range 1 Offender, will serve 8 years at 30% release eligibility for Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Deliver, plus an additional 4 years at 100% for Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
On March 6, 2025, after an extensive three-day trial, the jury convicted the Defendant of the aforesaid charges. Fields was also indicted for First Degree Murder but was acquitted for self-defense.
On August 6, 2022, after shooting Joshua Caleb Warrington, Fields was located by law enforcement in possession of a felony amount of Cocaine with additional paraphernalia indicative of drug sales, as well as the handgun used in the shooting death of Mr. Warrington.
