The West Tennessee Drug Task Force Board of Directors, Director and Chaplains is asking for prayers for one of their own.
Special Agent in Charge Jason Williams of the 28th District out of Humboldt was involved in an on-duty head-on collision yesterday morning in Atwood. SAC Williams was flown to Regional One in Memphis where he has undergone two surgeries and faces one more.
Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the accident and ticketed the other driver for violations.
SAC Williams is expected to make a complete recovery but would appreciate all prayers. SAC Williams is assigned to the Task Force from the Milan Police Department where he is a 26 year Veteran of the Department. “We would also like to thank Carroll County EMS, Fire, THP, local law enforcement, Vanderbilt life flight, Carroll County 911, bystanders and any others we forgot to mention for all of their help yesterday! Thank you!”, they said.
