Bobbie Rickman, age 74, of Paris, TN died on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.
She was baptized in October of 2024 at the LeGuardo Baptist Church in Lebanon, TN. Bobbie had a deep love for horses and animals. She enjoyed attending Native American cultural events and was actively involved with the Henry County Saddle Club, where she served as Secretary. One of her greatest joys was supporting her grandchildren and staying involved in their activities
Bobbie was born November 11, 1950, to the late Robert Curtis Blevins and to the late Merri Christine Day Blevins.
She was married on June 29, 1984, to Jerry Rickman who preceded her in death on August 1, 2024.
Bobbie is survived by her two children, Clayton (Rachel) Richardson of Gallatin, TN, and Julie (Del) Smith of Lebanon, TN; a sister, Melody Blevins of Sevierville, TN; five grandchildren, Morgan Blair Richardson, Amelia Richardson, Robert Del Smith, Devin Smith, and Jesse Smith.
Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Rae Ann Lambert.
Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Sunday, May 5, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to be at Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Brian Wimberley and Kyle Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
