
Top Gun Car Shows will host the inaugural Tennessee Kruzin’ Nationals at Discovery Park of America on Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025. The two-day event will showcase a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, and semis, all displayed across the 50-acre heritage park. Access to the show is included with park admission or membership.
The car show on Friday, Sept. 26, will run from noon-3 p.m., followed by a Mystery Cruise in the afternoon. On Saturday, Sept. 27, registration will be open from 8 a.m.-noon, with judging starting at 9:30 a.m. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony for the participating vehicles on Saturday afternoon.
Top Gun Car Shows is renowned for organizing events across the region, including the “Firecracker Sparkle and Shine National Car Show” in Mayfield, Kentucky, and the “Choo Choo Nationals” in Murray, Kentucky. This will mark the company’s first event at Discovery Park of America.
“Discovery Park has hosted car shows before, but never on this scale,” said Lauren Jones, director of events at Discovery Park. “We’re excited to welcome Top Gun and the many car show enthusiasts who will travel from across the region to participate.”
Scored on a point system, awards for the event will include the “Top 75 Awards” for the highest-scoring vehicles above 75 points, as well as “The Elite Eleven,” where the top 11 vehicles will receive 6’ trophies. “The Fab Five” will honor the top five vehicles with 6’ trophies, and the “Best of Show” award will be given to the overall highest-scoring vehicle, also earning a 6’7″ trophy. Special awards will be presented in categories such as Best Engine, Best Interior, Best Graphics, Best Modified Car and more.

Discovery Park of America, a museum and heritage park in Northwest Tennessee, offers exhibits and experiences in science, technology, history and art. The museum’s Transportation Gallery highlights vehicles from its extensive collection, including a 1916 Ford Model T and a 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo SS—also known as the Budweiser No. 8 car, driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. during his final season with Budweiser.
