Union City, Tenn.–The Obion County Chamber joined Discovery Park of America Tuesday for a special ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating their new designation as an official Great River Road Interpretive Center. The event took place at the front entrance of Discovery Park, where new signage was unveiled, recognizing the museum’s important role along one of America’s most iconic road trip routes — the Great River Road, a 3,000-mile scenic byway that follows the Mississippi River through ten states. This designation highlights Discovery Park’s commitment to sharing the natural and cultural stories that shape Northwest Tennessee and the surrounding region.
