Just Few Weeks Away From Discovery Park Cardboard Boat Regatta

dpa-col-sanders

Union City, Tenn.–Discovery Park of America is just a few weeks away from making waves at the 12th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta on Saturday, May 10. And they can’t wait to see what kind of creative boats hit the South Lake this year.
Think you can outdo the two celebrities that joined the fun last year? Santa and his elf were “sleighing the competition,” while Colonel Sanders unveiled his latest invention: the Tennessee Floating Chicken. Who will sail to victory this time and who will take home the coveted Van Gogh Award for most creative boat?
Start planning your build with only cardboard and duct tape now.
Registration is free for student teams (ages 12-18). Registration for all other teams (adults and adult/youth) is $25 through May 3 and $35 from May 4 until race day. For more info and to sign up, visit discoveryparkofamerica.com/cbbr2025.
