Main Street Union City has partnered with Union City Parks & Rec and Century 21 on a downtown clean up day this Saturday morning.
Help make the downtown UC community a cleaner, greener place by volunteering to pick up litter and beautify our downtown district.
All volunteers will arrive between 8 and 8:30 AM on Sat., April 19 and will be assigned a zone to clean up in the downtown district. Some tasks include helping plant flowers in the downtown planters, pulling weeds from sidewalks and around buildings, picking up trash and more.
This is in conjunction with Earth Day, which is on Tues., April 22. “Earth Day is a day when people all over the world take part in various different activities to raise awareness of how important it is to take care of our planet.” (quote: NatGeo)
