Mrs. Bettie Jo Earon, age 80, of Dover, TN, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN.

Bettie was born on October 21, 1944, in Land Between the Lakes, Stewart County, TN, to the late Dewey and Mary Hughes Fox. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Dover and lived a life rooted in faith, love for her family, and simple joys.

Bettie had a deep love for her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She especially enjoyed going for drives and sightseeing. A true local at heart, she had a special fondness for Dairy Dip cheeseburgers, corndogs, and a cold Coke. Bettie was an avid supporter of all Stewart County sports, particularly basketball — always with a bag of popcorn in hand. Her sweet tooth was well-known and only added to her endearing charm.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Baxter Earon; daughter, Tammy Beechum; brothers, William Fox and Roy Fox; and sisters, Stella Farmer, Marjorie Boren, Mavis May, Hilda Luffman, Linda Henderson and Zelma Ahart; and grandson, Thomas Carder.

Bettie is survived by her loving daughter, Paula Wynn of Dover, TN; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her cherished companion, her special baby, Precious.

Visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m., and will continue until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., with Marty Blane officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery, Dover, TN. Serving as pallbearers are Steven Wynn, Brandon Wynn, Braylon Wynn, Randy Miles, Jeff Boren, and Tom Carder.
