Obion County, Tenn. – Businesses and individuals from Obion County received awards at the inaugural Northwest Tennessee Cornerstone Tourism Awards at the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center in Huntingdon, TN.
The premier event celebrates excellence in tourism across Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Obion and Weakley Counties, recognizing individuals, businesses, organizations and other entities that contribute to making Northwest Tennessee a top destination.
“The NWTN Cornerstone Tourism Awards were created to shine a light on the incredible people and places that make Northwest Tennessee such a special destination,” says Kasey Muench, Director of Northwest Tennessee Tourism. “It is a joy to celebrate so many of our partners from Obion County; I am grateful for the role they play in making our region a place that people want to visit, explore, and return to time and time again.”
Obion County winners of the 2025 Cornerstone Awards include:

- Cornerstone Champion: Shopping – The Chocolate Bunny
- Cornerstone Star: Lodging – Christa Hopper, Sleep Inn / MainStay Suites
- Star Cornerstone Champion Partner – Caroline Partin, Discover Reelfoot

These award winners were recognized for making an outstanding effort to collaborate with regional tourism partners and provide a positive visitor experience when people “Come to Our Corner” of the state.
