
Obion, Tenn.–Much of our area continue to be underwater, like this street scene this morning in Obion. The Obion Fire Department posted photos of flooded conditions in the town on its Facebook page, with the notations that floodwaters were 40.27 feet at 7 a.m. today. Our area was deluged with massive amounts of rainfall over the past few days, measuring around a foot of rain on already saturated ground. The Rives community in Obion County is also inundated with floodwaters, water rescues were ongoing in South Fulton and Fulton and many roadways in Obion, Henry, Carroll, and other counties in our area have been closed due to flooding.
