Rives, Tenn.–Following the severe flooding, evacuations and numerous water rescues in February, officials in Rives are making preparations for the predicted huge rainfall our area is expected to experience the next few days beginning tonight.
Rives officials said the levee on the north side of Rives has been patched and they hope it holds. On Tuesday, the Army Corps of Engineers fixed the levee break north of town. Also the river basin brought in large pumps for the town to use.
