Martin, Tenn.–A Dyer man was sentenced to prison time after his guilty plea on a rape charge in Weakley County.
On April 2, 2023, the Martin Police Department arrested and formally charged Nolen T. Williams, age 20 of Dyer, with one count of Rape regarding an incident that occurred on that date at 800 University St. in Martin.
On March 10, 2025, Williams pled guilty to one count of Rape-without consent, which is a Class B felony, in the 27th Judicial Circuit Court.
On March 24, 2025, Willaims was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge Jeff Parham to serve 8 years at 100% in the Tennessee Department of Corrections. Williams will also be on the Sexual Offender Registry and under Community Supervision for the remainder of his life.
