
Union City, Tenn.– Discovery Park of America is inviting educators and corporate teams to participate in one of two upcoming webinars designed to showcase the Cardboard Boat Regatta, a hands-on experience that promotes creativity, engineering and teamwork.
The webinars will be hosted by John Watkins, Discovery Park’s grounds director and Clare Saum, Discovery Park’s marketing director.
The annual Cardboard Boat Regatta, held at the South Lake at Discovery Park, challenges participants to design, build and race boats constructed entirely out of cardboard and duct tape. The event is a favorite among students and businesses alike, offering a unique opportunity to apply STEM principles, foster collaboration and test problem-solving skills in a fun, competitive environment.
