Building on their season-opening victories from the day before, the Union City Middle School tennis programs won again on Tuesday – sweeping Obion County 7-0 in girls’ play and 4-0 in the boys’ matches.

First-year head coach Angie Conley praised her players’ calmness, focus, and energy in the two shutouts.

“After experiencing some first-day jitters on Monday, the team showed remarkable poise and skill, and they played with confidence,” Conley said. “It was a well-deserved win.”
