Several members of the Union City High School choir and theatre groups have showcased their talents in area performances.
Ten students from UCHS recently performed in the UT Martin Honor Choir Festival.
The event brought together high school students from across the Northwest Tennessee area to the UTM campus to sing as a group in a two-day festival.
During the festival, students rehearsed high-quality literature that culminated in a performance for families, friends, and the community.
Conductors included Dr. Mark Statler, UTM Director of Choral Activities, and guest conductor Dr. Sarah Lynn Baird, former Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering at the University of North Alabama.
Among the Union City contingent to perform were (see related photo):

Kitchen, Moon, Gary, and McAdams were chosen to perform in a select Chamber Singers Choir. They rehearsed additional songs and performed them during the concert.
UCHS will also have several students performing in the All-State Choir at the TMEA Music Educator’s Conference. That rehearsal and performance is scheduled during the school’s Spring Break, the second full week in April.
