Paris Man Pronounced Dead At Henry Co. Jail

Paris, Tenn.–A Paris man died Tuesday at the Henry County Jail after being found unresponsive by county correctional officers.

According to a press release issued by Sheriff Josh Frey, officers found Daniel Brad Saylor, age 52, unresponsive in his cell about 11:20 a.m.

Officers immediately implemented life-saving measures until EMS arrived and continued CPR and other measures, but the measures were unsuccessful and Saylor was pronounced dead at the jail.

According to the press release, the death is currently being investigated by the office of District Attorney General Neil Thompson. At this time, no foul play is believed to be involved.

“The Henry County Sheriff’s office requests everyone to lift the Saylor family in prayer during this difficult time,” the press release said.
