This morning, a Martin bus was involved in a minor accident on Hassel Road in Martin. All students were transferred to a second bus for transportation to school. Nurses evaluated the 24 students on board. Parents and guardians of the students were notified by school staff.
School officials said, “The safety of students, faculty, and staff is top priority, and we will continue to monitor the situation for the well-being of everyone involved. Weakley County Schools appreciates the quick action by our staff and first responders.”
