Faye Cox, age 82, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Her body is to be cremated and a private family celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Burial of her ashes will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Faye Lynn Hart Cox was born January 5, 1943 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Maurice Odell Hart and the late Louise Flanagan Hart. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Jeff) Morris of Milan, Tennessee and by her son, Shane Cox of Paris; her grandchildren, Tyler Cox, of Paris and Jake (Shelby) Morris of Memphis; and by her great granddaughter, Indie Blake Morris.
Besides her parents, Ms. Cox is also preceded in death by her son, Shawn Cox.
Faye was a Baptist by faith and worked as a nurse for over 50 years.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made either to: Wounded Warrior Project, Henry County Sheriff’s Dept. Animal Shelter or the charity of the donor’s choice.
