On Thursday morning, February 20th, 2025 Patsy Jean Pitts Dacus transitioned from this life into her eternity in Heaven. She was surrounded by love with her son Mickey, daughter-in-law Selena, and daughter Angie at her side as she peacefully passed.
Patsy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Pete and Ruth, her five siblings, Juanita, Wayne, Harold, Doris, and James and her nephew Randy.
Patsy’s remaining family includes her husband Larry 77, kids Mickey 51, Selena 50, Angie 46, and JT 66, and grandkids JoJo 29, Jordan 27 (husband Jason 28), Savannah 25, Will 24 (wife Krista 23), Caiah 22 (wife Alyssa 22), Sam 22, Abbie 20, and Eli 20.
Her close relationships with friends made them all more like family. Whether life long or more recent, her selfless giving to those around her was her love language.
This sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend will be truly missed by all who have loved her for so long while she is rejoicing in the presence of Jesus.
Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Russell Zik will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to a charity of your choice.
