CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.- The University of Tennessee at Martin track and field teams wrapped up the indoor regular season with three first place finishes and three brand new school records at the Redhawks Open.
Top Performers
- Janay Chapman raced her way to a first place finish in the 55 meter with a time of 7.22 seconds.
- Freshman Elisha Lane leaped into first place after a personal best in the triple jump of 12.69m.
- Chadwick Stewart broke the school record in the 55m following a time of 6.45 seconds that earned him first place.
- Freshman Abbie Lloyd garnered a third place finish in the pole vault after a school record 2.80m.
- Once again, Hank Fisher broke the school record in the shot put. This time with a launch of 13.94m.
UT Martin will now get set for the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships from Feb. 25 to Feb. 26.
