8. Testify truthfully if called as a witness in related criminal cases.
On July 25, 2023, officers with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force conducted a search of Moss’s commercial property, Humboldt Fitness LLC, and its adjoining warehouse, as a result of a controlled delivery of 43 pounds of a substance containing Psylocibin, a Schedule I Drug, to that business. Officers also located 29 firearms, $153,421 in suspected drug proceeds, drug paraphernalia, and documentation and electronic evidence of illegal narcotic distribution.
Moss received subsequent drug-related charges on September 25, 2024, after a search was executed by the West Tennessee Drug Task Force on the same commercial property belonging to Moss. Moss has been in custody since this arrest; these charges are pending investigation and prosecution by the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee.
“We want to thank our West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force for their hard work, as well as all the law enforcement agencies who have assisted with this investigation. Assistant District Attorney Nina W. Seiler did an outstanding job of prosecuting this case for our office. Also, we commend the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District and the U.S. Postal Inspector for their additional prosecution. Our goals were to hold Mr. Moss accountable by convicting him of a felony drug charge and forfeiting his ownership of a property located on a main economic corridor in Humbolt that was being used for illegal activity.”
– District Attorney General, Frederick H. Agee
“Closing out this case is a win for the community of Humboldt and West Tennessee and further demonstrates the value of a specialized Drug Task Force. We had multiple local and federal agencies from within the 28th District who participated in shutting down this large drug operation, and we now have possession of the building that once sold drugs all over West Tennessee.”
– Director of the West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force, Johnie Carter
This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Nina W. Seiler from The Office of the District Attorney General, 28th Judicial District, Frederick Agee.
