Eagle Fest begins this Friday January 31! This year, Area Interpretive Ranger David Haggard will present bird of prey programs on Friday at 5:45 pm and Sunday at 12:30 pm and 2 pm. David has worked with Tennessee State Parks for 40 years and is retiring in the spring. Don’t miss the last programs of his career.
The fun starts January 31st and concludes on February 2nd. Among the guests is Julie Grower. She is a Folk/Americana singer-songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. This year, she is providing a songwriter workshop for students at Lara Kendall Elementary School on Friday and giving a performance at the State Park Visitor Center starting at 10:30am on Saturday.
Join them for the 21st Annual Reelfoot Lake Eagle Festival, a free three-day celebration featuring guided eagle and waterfowl tours, live Birds of Prey programs, and educational activities.
Experience one of the largest wintering populations of Bald Eagles outside Alaska, along with many other species of birds at this unique natural sanctuary. The festival includes vendor exhibitions, children’s art activities, photography contests, and special sunrise tours.
Reservations are not required to attend the festival but are required for eagle tours. To register visit tnstateparks.info/EagleFest2025 or call the park at 731-253-9652.
