Union City, Tenn.–Union City High School will celebrate its basketball homecoming Friday night when the Tornado teams host Greenfield at Marty Sisco Gymnasium.
A queen will be crowned from three senior candidates at halftime of the boys’ game.
The UCHS winter color guard will perform at halftime of the girls’ game.
Daily dress-up theme days will be part of the week-long homecoming celebration at all three Union City schools leading up to Friday’s festivities.
The homecoming court will consist of:
Freshman Princess Ainsley Sadler – Daughter of Hannah Duncan and Adam Sadler
Sophomore Princess Sh’Nyla Moss – Daughter of Shalonda Moffatt and Kenny Moss
Junior Princess La’Kiyah Gordon – Daughter of Brittany Taylor and Bobby Gordon
Senior Queen Candidates
Debrionna Jones – Daughter of Annie and Raymond Alexander
Kennedi Robinson – Daughter of Kristy and Donny Robinson
Jayla Turner – Daughter of Charlene Turner and Derrick Gray
Friday’s girls’ game is set to tip off at 6 p.m., with the boys’ nightcap to follow.
