Joi Linda Stagner, age 79 of Big Sandy, TN, died Saturday January 11, 2025, at Patriot Health & Rehab in Paris, TN.
She retired as a registered nurse after practicing for over sixteen years. Joi was a church pianist for many years.
Joi was born October 19, 1945, in Bethesda, Maryland, to the late Cleveland Tivy and to the late Gloria Bonterre Tivy.
She was married September 8, 2014, to Bob Stagner who survives, of Big Sandy.
She is survived by her daughter, Alysa Gorham of Washington, DC; two sisters, Julie (Murray) Boney of Perris, CA, Jan (Corky) Goe, her twin sister of Harvest, AL; and several grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Davis.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Her funeral service will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with Chad Kennedy officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be the staff of Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
