Helping Hand Radio Auction Up To $52,317 Now

Paris, Tenn.–Today was an especially busy day at Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction, with some 26 slates and over 300 donations. At the end of the long afternoon, $12,524 was raised, bringing the year-to-date total to $52,,317. In addition to donations spread out on several tables, every one of the freezers were full of donated items.

Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousDonaands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations. The auction goes until February 26.

Donations came from Kroger, Henry County Prevention Coalition, Jones Mill/Hico community, Charter Senior Living, Henry County Employees, plus the rescheduled groups from the Osage/Airport community, Paris Rotay, and Party Bounce and Jump.

Auctioneers today were Jamie Orr and Amy Veazey, with the Paris Lions Club manning the phones. Wendy Barnhart will be auctioneer Thursday, with the Paris Quota manning the phones.

On Thursday, items will be donated by the Oakland community, Junior Livestock, Latter Day Saints, Habitat for Humanity and Pleasant Hill community.

Auction phone is 644 1695. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center at 1510 East Wood St., Paris. Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousDonaands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations.

The auction is broadcast daily at our radio station WHNY, 104.7 FM/AM 1000; on our website at radionwtn.com and on the Henry County Helping Hand website.

The auction begins at 12:30p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays.
