
DYERSBURG, Tenn. – The Bethel Wildcat Men’s Soccer program has signed Dyer County High School’s Tyler Fowlkes. Tyler is the son of Clint and Heather Fowlkes of Dyersburg, Tennessee and will major in Physical Therapy/ Athletic Training.
Tyler was named Offensive Player of the Year, and Playmaker during his prep career. He was also named Rookie of the Year his freshman season.
Off the pitch, Fowlkes was a member of the National Honor Society and finished in the top ten percent of his class every year at DCHS. Tyler was a member of the Leo Club and on the Dyer County Leadership Council.
Tyler feels his biggest strength is his passion and heart for the game.
Bethel Assistant Coach Sheldon Spellman commented, “Tyler’s potential is what excites us the most. He has a lot of tools to work with. In addition, Tyler has an eye on the future, possesses a determination to succeed, and is a leader on the pitch and in the classroom. We can’t wait to start working with him.”
