Mr. Ronnie Hensley, 67, of Union City passed away 4:17 a.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor David Hensley will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hensley, Zach Hensley, Ethan Screen, Micheal Scheland, Parker Clark, Clayton Horton and Charlie Hensley.
Ronnie was born March 22, 1957, in Lake County, son of the late Charles Delbert and Maybell (Connell) Hensley. He married Stephanie (Erwin) Hensley May 5, 1990. She passed away July 15, 2022. He worked for the former Reelfoot Packing Company for 15 years and Lennox Hearth Products for 23 years. He was a member of the Army National Guard. Ronnie was Christian by faith and loved taking care of his yard.
He is survived by two daughters, Shari Screen of Union City and Misty Clark (Paul) of Union City; one son, Zach Hensley of Camden; two brothers, Donnie Hensley (Bonnie) of Gadsden, Alabama and Billy Hensley of Obion; two sisters, Darlene Morris (Billy) of Troy and Angie Simbeck (Rick) of Union City; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Judy Brady; and two brothers, Roger Hensley and Tony Hensley.
