Helping Hand Radio Auction Now At $20,401

Paris, Tenn.–With $4,637 raised today, the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $20,401. The auction runs through February 26.   .

Today was the first day back after being off for two days due to snowy roadways. Donating items today were W.G. Rhea Library, L.I. Smith, Arts Council, and Master Gardeners. Auctioneer was Ray Compton and manning the phones was the Athena Delphian group.

Tuesday’s items will be donated by Security Bank and White & Associates Wimberly/Dyer Agency.

With the two days office, rescheduling changes for donating organizations were already announced. Wednesday will be an especially busy day, with Kroger, Henry County Prevention Coalition, Jones Mill/Hico community, Charter Senior Living, Henry County Employees, plus the rescheduled groups from the Osage/Airport community, Paris Rotay, and Party Bounce and Jump.

On Thursday, items will be donated by the Oakland community, Junior Livestock, Latter Day Saints, Habitat for Humanity and Pleasant Hill community.

Auction phone is 644 1695. The auction is held at the Paris Convention Center at 1510 East Wood St., Paris. Dozens of groups and local communities raise thousands of dollars each year for over 90 non-profit service organizations.

The auction is broadcast daily at our radio station WHNY, 104.7 FM/AM 1000; on our website at radionwtn.comand on the Henry County Helping Hand website.

The auction begins at 12:30p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays.
