Paris, Tenn.–Road conditions in Paris and Henry County are steadily deteriorating and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Paris Police are cautioning motorists to stay off the streets. Once the snow started early this morning, it has fallen steadily which Police Chief Ricky Watson said is causing city streets to deteriorate quickly. Roads are “slick and treacherous”, he said. Henry County Emegency Management Agency Director Ron Watkins said there are multiple reports of vehicles in ditches. Sheriff Josh Frey said conditions of roadways in the county are becoming more and more slick. Law enforcement ask that drivers use caution if you have to travel and stay safe. All three –Frey, Watkins and Watson–are patrolling the streets and roads and are posting photos on their Facebook pages today. Photo is view of East Wood Street this morning.
