
Union City, Tenn.–Discovery Park of America is set to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025.
Activities will begin at 11 a.m. in Dino Hall with opening remarks from CEO Scott Williams, followed by keynote addresses from Dr. Yancy Freeman, Chancellor at the University of Tennessee at Martin, and Joyce Washington, community organizer and activist.
College students and staff with valid ID and children 17 and under receive free admission on King Day. Guests are also invited to participate in a food drive. Adults who donate a minimum of five non-perishable food items can purchase general admission tickets for $10.
