Paris, Tenn.–It’s true that it takes a small army of volunteers to produce the successful Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction each year and there was no better illustration of that than Friday, when dozens of volunteers showed up to help set up all the tables, chairs, small office, telephones, radio and livestream hook-ups needed so the auction could begin without a hitch Monday. Helping Hand is by now a well-oiled machine, with volunteers showing up without having to be asked. For two years in a row, Helping Hand has broken records, raising over $500,000 each year for some 90 non-profit service organizations in Henry County. The auction runs from January 6 through February 26 from the Paris Convention Center and is on our radio station WHNY 104.7FM/AM1000; livestreamed on our website at radionwtn.com; and livestreamed on the Henry County Helping Hand website.
