Murray Assistant Police Chief Retires After 20 Years

Murray, Ky.–On Tuesday, the Murray Police Department celebrated the remarkable 20-year career and retirement of the Assistant Chief of Police, Major John Cooper.

According to the MPD press release, “Throughout his time here, Major Cooper has exemplified unwavering dedication, integrity, and service to our community. His leadership, commitment to safety, and lasting impact on our department will be felt for years to come.

 

“Major Cooper, thank you for your service and for leaving a legacy of excellence. Your hard work has made a difference, and you will be missed by all who have had the privilege to work alongside you.  We wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement. “Best Job I Ever Had.”
