Dickson County, Tenn.–The Dickson County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday afternoon that its mounted patrol horse Matt Dillon passed away.
“It is with great sadness that we announce our mounted patrol horse Matt Dillon has passed away. Matt Dillon was 23 years old and belonged to our Reserve Deputy TJ Jackson. Matt was at many of our commmnity events and was a gentle friend to all. Please keep Deputy Jackson and all that loved Matt Dillon in your thoughts and prayers.” the sheriff’s office Facebook page said.
