
Kenneth G. Castleman, age 86, of Savannah, Tennessee formerly of Paris, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Savannah Healthcare and Rehab Center. His body is to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Kenneth Gordan Castleman was born November 16, 1938 in Gleason, Tennessee to the late J. Ned Castleman and the late Faye Davis Castleman. He married Peggy Ann Bramlett on July 6, 1972 and she preceded him in death on June 18, 2013. He is survived by his son, Randy Castleman of Adamsville, Tennessee; step-daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Hendrix of Memphis and Vickie Wimberly of Hardin, Kentucky; also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; by sister-in-law, Marilyn Castleman (Eddie’s wife) of Gleason; and by other family members.
Besides his parents and spouse, Kenneth is also preceded in death by son, Tony Castleman; sister, Wanda Gay (Leon) Purvis; brothers, Bennie, James Melton, and Edward Ray “Eddie” Castleman.
Mr. Castleman attended the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gleason. He loved to play the piano and had a band with his brother and others known as the “Castlelites”. Kenneth worked as an editor at World Color in Dresden until retiring.
