Union City, Tenn.–Due to ongoing repairs from Tuesday night’s lightning storm, “Let it Glow” will, unfortunately, remain CLOSED tonight, Dec. 19.
Discovery Park of America received multiple direct hits during the storm, which caused significant damage to equipment that powers the light shows.
Park officials said, “Our goal is to restore the light show to its full, magical experience. After careful consideration, we have decided to delay reopening until Friday night, Dec. 20.
While we are disappointed by the delay, we’re grateful that there are still several days left in the season for you to enjoy the magic of Let It Glow. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
