
Deputies with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop near the Pryorsburg community on December 3, 2024, at approximately 8:48 PM. Deputy Peyton Jackson was able to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle near the US-45 South and KY-58 West intersection after he observed the vehicle commit multiple traffic violations.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Patrick Davis, 29 years old of Dyersburg TN, was found to be impaired, and a vehicle search was conducted after Davis was arrested for DUI. The search yielded methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Also in the vehicle were two adult passengers, William Pruett, 61 years old, and Betty Wilson, 26 years old, both of Dyersburg, TN. All three individuals were placed under arrest, and transported to the Graves County RC Center where they were later transported to an out of county facility.
A child that was in the vehicle was taken into protective custody and was later released to another party.
Davis was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense – Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia Possession, DUI 1st Offense, No Operator’s License and traffic offenses.
Wilson and Pruett were both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia Possession.
The investigation is on-going by Deputy Jackson and more charges are likely. He was assisted by Deputy Chad Hall, Sgt. Garret Clark, the Kentucky State Police and the Department for Community Based Services.
