
Como, Tenn.–There is another Blessing Box in Henry County, bringing the total to over 20 now.
The newest one is at the Thompson Creek Baptist Church in Como. The Blessing Box is located at the right side of the church building. And given its location so close to the county line, it’s open to everyone in Henry and Weakley Counties.
Debbie Taylor of the church said it’s for anyone else in the area that might be needing a little assistance. Thompson Creek Baptist Church is located at 10622 Hwy. 54.
There are Little Food Pantries and Blessing Boxes located all over Henry County including:
Atkins-Porter Recreation Center, Trinity United Methodist Church, Quinn Chapel AME Church, Wiley Chapel, Puryear United Methodist Church, Harrelson School, Inman School, Henry United Methodist Church, Oak Grove Missionary Church, Antioch United Methodist Church, First Christian Church, Garland’s, Puryear City Pavilion, Russwood Church, Bethesda United Methodist Church, New Life Baptist Church, Church of the Living God, Progressive Baptist Church, and the AMVETS 45.
There also is a Little Pantry for dogs at the Atkins-Porter Dog Park.
