Cancer Survivors Program 2024 (8.5 x 11 in) - 1

PARIS, TENNESSEE  – The Annual Ed Roberts / Caring Hearts Cancer  Survivors Dinner returns, offering an evening of hope and celebration for cancer survivors and  their loved ones. Barbara Roberts, the original founder, coordinates this inspiring event with  support from West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital and the Paris and Henry  County Healthcare Foundation.

First held in the Cancer Center at West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Hospital, this event  has grown to welcome 300 attendees, requiring new venues over the years. This year’s dinner  will be held at Maplewood Baptist Church on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

At the heart of the event is the Caring Hearts Fund, a key initiative of the Paris and Henry  County Healthcare Foundation. This fund provides crucial financial aid to cancer patients,  helping cover expenses such as co-pays, premiums, medications, and transportation, especially  for those from nearby counties receiving care in Henry County. The success of the dinner  depends on the generosity of community sponsors, whose contributions make it possible to  provide a memorable meal and thoughtful gifts for survivors, ensuring this gathering is truly  special.
