The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will begin accepting deer for our “Deputies for the Hungry “ program on November 23rd, 2024. The program will continue through December 30th,2024.Deer may be dropped off at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office between the hours of 7am and 7pm daily. We will be closed on Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Hunters will need to have the deer checked in prior to arrival and have the confirmation number ready for deer shed personnel. All deer must be field dressed prior to drop off. The Henry County Sheriffs Office will have a give away at the conclusion of the season. The Sheriffs Office will make the public aware of when the give away will be. For each deer donated the hunter will receive a ticket for a drawing to be held at Hulmes Sporting Goods after season closes.
