Pauline Conger, age 99 of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at McEvoy Funeral Home with her grandson, Brian Conger officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and burial will take place in Johnson Chapel Cemetery following the service.
Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at McEvoy and again on Wednesday after 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
Rebecca Pauline Robinson Conger was born December 21, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Connie Herst Robinson and the late Florence Mildred Ezell Robinson. She married James Robert Conger on April 20, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2010. Pauline is survived by two sons, Larry Mitchell (Sharon) Conger and John Richard (Rhonda) Conger, all of Paris; numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and special friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Conger is also preceded by daughters, Mary Ruth Conger and Rebecca Joyce Bennett; sons, James David Conger and Paul Frederick Conger; three grandchildren; one sister; and six brothers.
Pauline professed Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of thirteen. She was a very special wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who dearly loved her family.
