
Dresden, Tenn.–Weakley County Schools is announcing the hiring of Maegan Jolley as the new Communications Director. A lifelong resident of Weakley County, Jolley brings a deep-rooted passion for community and education, along with extensive experience in marketing and communications.
Jolley’s background includes significant experience in marketing and communications for businesses, organizations, and events. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Media Design and a minor in Marketing from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her expertise in strategic communications, impactful design, and community engagement makes her exceptionally well-suited for this role.
In addition to her professional qualifications, Jolley is deeply involved in community initiatives. She serves as the Creative Coordinator for the Tennessee Iris Festival, where she has played a pivotal role in promoting local culture and fostering community spirit. She has also served on the Tennessee Iris Festival Executive Committee for nine years, as well as the UT Martin Communications Department Advisory Board, and has volunteered her design skills for nonprofit organizations across the region.
“Maegan’s deep roots in this community, combined with her enthusiasm for public education and marketing, make her an outstanding addition to our team,” said Jeff Cupples, Director of Weakley County Schools. “Her skills will be invaluable in showcasing the amazing work happening in our schools.”

Maegan is married to Zach Jolley, and together they have two daughters, Josie and Livi.
