
Calloway County, Ky.–A situation involving a vehicle fire escalated when a New Concord man resisted arrest.
On Nov 1, at approximately 4 pm deputies responded to Norris Drive in reference to a vehicle fire. While on scene it was discovered that Delbert Orey had an active arrest warrant obtained by Murray Police Department. While attempting to take him in to custody Orey became non-compliant. Deputies attempted to deescalate the situation verbally but he became physically aggressive. He was arrested and lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center. No medical attention was needed for any party.
