Paris, TN, – Commercial Bank and Trust is announcing the election of Brett Stoots to its Board of Directors. Stoots has been a dedicated member of the Commercial Bank and Trust team for over five years, currently serving as the bank’s Chief Financial Officer.
Before joining Commercial Bank and Trust, Stoots was a Senior Manager at HORNE, specializing in audit and consulting services in the Financial Institutions focus area. His extensive expertise in finance, accounting, and risk management makes him a valuable addition to the board.
Stoots holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Master of Science in Accounting from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. He is a graduate of the Tennessee Bankers Association’s Southeastern School of Banking and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Tennessee.
Beyond his professional achievements, Stoots is deeply committed to community service. He is the Treasurer of the Paris Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Paris Henry County Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Finance Committee. His community involvement also includes volunteering as a football coach for the Henry County Youth Athletic Association. Mr. Stoots and his family are members of the Paris First United Methodist Church.
