Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Courthouse already has a whole new look as upgrades continue to the court square in downtown Paris. Over the weekend, Tri Turf Sod Farms completed installation of new sod to replace the bare spots from a large-scale tree removal. A sprinkler system also has been installed on the lawn as officials continue deciding what type and how many young trees should be planted on the square. Jason Pooler of Tri Turf Sod said, “Thanks Henry County for the opportunity to do this project. It makes our company very proud to be able to make such a historical place come back to life. Great job to everyone involved.” Numerous members of the public have commented that the beauty of the courthouse, built in 1896, can now be clearly seen. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
