Judy Moon, age 74 of Paris passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Her funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at McEvoy Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. John Smith of Fairview Baptist Church. Named as pallbearers are Teddy Wade, Rickey Kelley, Jeremy Kelley, Russell Wade, Brad Wade, and Colton Halstead. Burial will follow services in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled on Sunday at McEvoy, after 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
Judy Carol Hamilton Moon was born September 1, 1950 in Paris, Tennessee to the late James C. “J.C.” Hamilton and the late Betty Jane Williams Belt. She married Terry Lee Moon on June 21, 1985 and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2017. She is survived by her granddaughter, Jerin (Colton) Halstead; great-grandchildren, Cashton, Callie, Jaceton, Cashleigh, and Cobain Halstead; sisters, Barbara (Rickey) Kelley of Williamsport, TN and Opal (Teddy) Wade of Paris; brother, Chris (Missy) Hamilton of Paris; also by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and by her special friend, Elva Williams.
Judy was a Baptist by faith and attended Fairview Baptist Church as well as TVCC.
